Abstract

A team of scientists from Experimentica Ltd., Leica Microsystems, Spective LLC and Loyola University Chicago have published a detailed protocol describing technological advances that allow for the longitudinal in vivo follow-up in a mouse model for age-related macular degeneration (AMD). Specifically, the group used fluorescein angiography and spectral domain optical coherence tomography to track the development of neovascular and fibrotic processes in the laser-induced choroidal neovascularization (CNV) model. The article has been published by the Journal of Visualized Experiments.
