Kuopio, Finland, 25th January 2017: Experimentica Ltd., a global ophthalmic contract research organization (CRO) today announced the appointment of Satu Mering, Ph.D. to Director Laboratory Animal Research.

Dr. Mering received both her Masters and Ph.D. degree in Applied zoology from the University of Eastern Finland, where she served as Director of the Laboratory Animal Center for ten years prior to joining Experimentica Ltd. in January 2017. Dr. Mering is also the Docent of Laboratory Animal Science and will continue to serve as a Member of National Experimental Animal Board and Chairperson of the Finnish Laboratory Animal Science Association (FinLAS).
