Kuopio, Finland – July 1, 2026 Experimentica Ltd., a contract research organization (CRO) providing preclinical ocular models and services, has appointed Dr. Marc Cerrada-Gimenez as Director, In Vivo GLP Operations. Currently working as a Principal Investigator, Dr. Cerrada-Gimenez has been with Experimentica since 2017. In his new role, Dr. Cerrada-Gimenez is responsible for building and establishing the research and scientific framework for Experimentica’s GLP safety and toxicology operations, and will play a central role in the establishment of the GLP test facility in Kuopio in 2026.

Dr. Cerrada-Gimenez will contribute to building a consistent pathway for our clients from early-stage research to regulatory-ready studies, enabling a smooth transition from non-GLP efficacy work to GLP-compliant development.

Dr. Cerrada-Gimenez has over 15 years of experience in preclinical research and drug development. He holds a PhD in Biotechnology and has held senior roles at contract research organizations and biotechnology companies. His expertise spans multiple therapeutic areas, including ophthalmology, metabolic diseases, neuroscience, and rare diseases, as well as the execution and documentation of regulatory studies.
