Leveraging extensive experience with advanced cell culture systems, she has led the development of robust angiogenesis assays as well as translational toxicity and efficacy testing using in vitro models, enabling informed decision-making in early drug screening. Dr. Hakkarainen earned her Ph.D. in Biopharmacy from the University of Eastern Finland in 2013 and joined Experimentica in 2014. As Chief Scientific Officer, she drives innovation in predictive methodologies to advance high-quality drug candidates from discovery toward the clinic.
